Vehicle fire requires first responders to extinguish flames in Upper Gwynedd Township

First responders were called to the area of the Parc at West Point apartment complex in Upper Gwynedd Township on Tuesday evening for the report of a car fire.


According to Montgomery County emergency dispatch, units were called out to the rental complex at 5:35 p.m. on Tuesday to the area of the 100 block of Church Road, behind Royal Farms, for the report of a vehicle on fire. Upon arrival, first responders discovered a small, hatchback style car with what appeared to be an engine on fire, with heavy smoke coming from under the hood.

The car was parked in the rental complex lot. Responding to the scene were units from Upper Gwynedd Township Fire Company and Upper Gwynedd Township Police, among other emergency units.

No injuries have been reported at this time. More information will be provided as it is made available.
