Pennsylvania State Police out of Skippack are investigating a burglary and theft that occurred in the overnight hours at Salford Hills Elementary School in Upper Salford Township last week.

Police said on Wednesday, Dec. 17, at 8:33 a.m., troopers were dispatched to a  report of a theft at the Souderton Area School District school at 2721 Barndt Road.

An investigation found that Milwaukee power tools were stolen from a construction site on campus at around 11:30 p.m. Dec. 16 and involved the male drive of a dark green Ford Mustang.

Other construction items and property were vandalized during the incident, police said.
