What started as a grassroots idea among neighbors turned into a powerful show of generosity across the borough.

The Feed Lansdale Together Food Drive collected 3,771 food items for Manna on Main Street, organizers announced this week, as residents, businesses, and community groups rallied to support local families during a critical time of year.

Donation boxes placed throughout Lansdale overflowed in the weeks leading up to the holidays, underscoring both the need in the community and the willingness of residents to step up.

Five local businesses emerged as the drive’s top contributors, each collecting hundreds of items through customer and staff donations. Panico’s Neighborhood Grill & Sports Tavern led the way with 530 items, earning the 2025 Feed Lansdale Together top spot. Close behind were Lifeline Family Chiropractic Center & Lori Dudley Wellness, LLC with 473 items, Carlee Myers Personal Training, LLC with 421, Montella’s Sports Bar & Pub with 378, and Clyde S. Walton, Inc. with 377.

Organizers emphasized that every participating business and donor played a vital role in the drive’s success. From storefronts hosting collection boxes to residents dropping off a few extra items during errands, the effort reflected a borough-wide commitment to supporting Manna on Main Street, which continues to see increased demand for food assistance.

Feed Lansdale Together was launched by local residents Liz Fantini and Nikki Holbrook, who sought to unite neighbors, businesses, and organizations around a single goal: helping Manna meet rising needs during the holiday season and beyond. Their approach paired simple logistics with community pride, encouraging friendly competition among businesses while keeping the focus on impact.

Manna on Main Street, Lansdale’s leading food pantry and community kitchen, serves thousands of individuals each month through meals, grocery distribution, and support services. Organizers said the nearly 4,000 items collected will directly help families in the North Penn region and reaffirmed plans to continue building community partnerships in the year ahead.

As organizers noted in their closing message, Lansdale should be proud of what a true neighborhood effort can accomplish when people come together for their neighbors.
