Keystone Opportunity Center is requesting last-minute toy donations for the upcoming Santa Night Holiday celebration at Zwingli United Church of Christ in Souderton on Thursday, December 18 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Now in its third year, the free celebration is open to Keystone clientele and current tenants. Registration for the event is now closed. Families will enjoy hot chocolate, juice, cookies, crafts and photos with not just one, but two Santas. Parents will also have the opportunity to select at least two toys per child, ensuring every child leaves with gifts to celebrate the season, said a Keystone Opportunity Center press release.

With attendance just surpassing 100 children, Keystone is seeking additional toys to meet the need. New, unwrapped toys for children of all ages are welcome. Gift cards—particularly Walmart or Visa cards valued at $25—are especially helpful for pre-teens and teens ages 12–16. All donations need to be dropped off no later than 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 16, at Keystone Opportunity Center at 104 N. Main Street, Souderton, said the release.

“We are incredibly grateful to Zwingli United Church of Christ for hosting Santa Night this year,” said Linda Chaplin, Keystone’s Manager of Community Assistance and Supportive Programs. “Their partnership allows us to expand the celebration beyond our office space and welcome even more families.”

The Keystone Opportunity Center, founded in 2009 and headquartered in Souderton, Pa., is a nonprofit human services organization that annually supports more than 5000 families and individuals in need through a comprehensive array of social services that educate, encourage, and empower them to become self-sufficient members of their community.
