Police said the Hilltown Township, Bucks County woman was intoxicated and later reported being assaulted by a separate individual
A Hilltown Township woman is facing felony and misdemeanor charges after police said she spit in an officer’s face while they were responding to a domestic disturbance on Nov. 24, 2025.
According to an affidavit filed by township police, officers were dispatched to an apartment on Mill Road shortly before 7 p.m. and encountered a woman identified as Samantha Cieri, 26, who police described as intoxicated and agitated. As the officer approached, Cieri allegedly spit at him, with saliva striking the officer’s right cheek.
Police took Cieri into custody at the scene. While detained, she told officers she had been punched in the head by a relative, causing a welt, and that the earlier altercation had occurred after she spit at him. The man she accused was later taken into custody on separate allegations, according to the complaint.
Cieri was transported to Grand View Hospital for evaluation and was cleared for incarceration, police said. She is free after posting 10% of $100,000 cash bail and has a preliminary hearing Jan. 13 before Magisterial District Judge Regina Armitage.
She is charged with aggravated assault, misdemeanor simple assault and misdemeanor harassment, according to charging documents.
All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
