An employee of a Montgomery Township construction company has been accused of using the company credit card to rack up more than $49,000 in personal expenses, including DoorDash purchases, utility bills and rent.
Danielle M. Pavuk, 42, of the 2000 block of Jason Drive, Huntingdon Valley, was charged last month by Montgomery Township detectives with felony counts of theft by deception and access device fraud, and two misdemeanor charges of forgery, after her Stump Road employer found multiple discrepancies on bank statements and linked them to Pavuk, according to the affidavit.
On Nov. 7, 2025, the company’s chief financial officer visited police headquarters to report that Pavuk had allegedly been using the corporate credit card for personal use from June 8 to Nov. 5, 2025, police said.
Police said the complainant provided two sets of bank statements with multiple discrepancies on merchants’ names, when comparing the two. The certified bank statement showed Pavuk allegedly made several purchasers for her own gain using the card and then allegedly altered the merchant names to make expenses look as if they were legitimate business expenses.
All in all, Pavuk allegedly spent $49,347 on DoorDash, Amazon, rent and PECO bills.
Detectives applied for search warrants into the DoorDash and Amazon purchases made with the card over the past several months, which confirmed the purchases came back to Pavuk’s address, according to the complaint.
Pavluk has no bail, as a summons was issued for her arrest, per court records. A preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 6 at 11 a.m. before Magisterial District Judge Andrea Duffy. She is represented by West Chester attorney Nicholas Beeson.
