A Souderton man is facing numerous felony charges by Pennsylvania State Police out of Dublin for the alleged statutory sexual assault and sharing of child pornography via Snapchat of a Milford Township teenage girl over a three-year period.

Amir Preston  Thompsom, 25, of Souderton, was charged Nov. 25 for incidents allegedly occurring in Bucks County from January 2022 to September 2025. He is currently jailed in Bucks County on $750,000 cash bail.

Thompson faces a felony statutory sexual assault of a victim under 16 charge, as well as three felony counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse of person under 16, two felony counts of aggravated indecent assault, three felony counts of photographing, filming or depicting on a computer child sex acts, felony criminal use of a communications device, three felony counts of sexual abuse of children, and two misdemeanor counts of indecent assault on person under 16, according to court records.

On Sept. 10, 2025, at 8 a.m., state police were asked to assist the FBI in checking the welfare of a 16-year-old girl, who lives in Milford Township, Bucks County, police said.

Upon contact with the victim, police reviewed her cell phone, wherein an alleged text from Thompson showed a picture of a penis and an animated image of two people having sex, police said. The victim told police she has known Thompson for years.

On Sept. 15, police interviewed  Thompson at the Dublin barracks, where he allegedly confessed to exchanging nude photos and videos with the victim on multiple occasions via Snapchat and text, according to the complaint.

“Thompson continued to explain that the victim was trying to understand her body and he explained things to her,” police wrote in the affidavit. Thompson is accused of touching the girl inappropriately while she was nude, police said.

Thompson allegedly told authorities his Snapchat username and that he had naked photos and videos on the account but he deleted them on Sept. 11.

On Sept. 22, a warrant was served to Snapchat for details of Thompson’s account, where videos and text conversations were found, police said. A review of Thompsons’s phone provided additional evidence of a sexual relationship, police said.

Authorities allege the sex acts occurred at the victim’s home and in Thompson’s vehicle at a nearby church in Milford.

“The victim said that Thompson made her feel good about herself … The victim reported that she was sexually active with Thompson soon after they met when she was only 13 years old,” police wrote in the affidavit.

Thompson is represented by Philadelphia attorney William Weiss. A preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 15 before Magisterial District Judge Lisa Gaier.

All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
