An occupant in a brown pickup truck was rescued by first responders after a crash on the 1500 block of Morris Road near Henning Way in Towamencin Township late Monday night sent the vehicle off the roadway and into a creek.
Around 10:17 p.m., Montgomery County emergency dispatch radio reported an accident with injuries, near the curve in the roadway. One 911 caller from inside his home reported hearing a male moaning, per dispatch reports.
Skippack EMS transported one person from the scene for treatment of injuries.
Morris Road was closed between Wentz Church and Bustard roads in both directions for an extended period of time. Medevac was put on standby, but was not required to fly a patient.
Towamencin Police were assisted at the scene by Towamencin Fire Co., Upper Gwynedd Township Fire, VMSC Emergency Medical Services and Worcester Fire Co.
