Two people were rescued from an overturned car and then transported by VMSC Emergency Medical Services for treatment of injuries suffered in a 2-vehicle crash Monday afternoon on Sumneytown Pike in Upper Gwynedd Township.

Upper Gwynedd Fire and North Penn Vol. Fire companies responded to the crash on the 600 block of Sumneytown Pike around 5 p.m.

Upon arrival, first responders found a black Toyota sedan on its roof, with two occupants trapped, according to Montgomery County emergency dispatch reports.

Another vehicle, a white Ford utility van, sustained heavy front-end damage in the collision.
