Montgomery Township Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect connected to several thefts from unlocked vehicles in two neighborhoods early Tuesday morning.

According to police, the thefts occurred in the Heather Knoll and Canterbury developments in Montgomeryville during the early hours Tuesday. Authorities released video footage of the suspect and are urging anyone with information to contact the department at 215-362-2301.

Investigators reminded residents to lock their vehicles at all times and avoid leaving valuables where they are visible. They also encouraged community members to report suspicious activity immediately by calling 911.

Police did not specify what was taken in the thefts but said the investigation is ongoing.
