The orchestra performs an eclectic repertoire, including classical works, film scores, Broadway tunes, and popular favorites
The Audubon Symphony Orchestra, a vibrant community ensemble based in Trappe, is welcoming new members for its upcoming season. This year, the symphony has particular needs for a solo clarinetist, oboists, violists, and bassoonists, but organizers encourage all orchestra musicians to join.
The orchestra prides itself on being inclusive and friendly, bringing together players ranging from high school students to senior citizens. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings from 7:30-9:30 PM at St. Luke’s Fellowship Church, 200 W. Main St., Trappe. No audition is required.
The orchestra performs an eclectic repertoire, including classical works, film scores, Broadway tunes, and popular favorites. We also have a number of chamber music ensembles for different instruments.
The first rehearsal of the new season is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 3. Interested musicians are invited to bring their instruments and a music stand, park in the rear lot of the church, and come in.
