Souderton Girls Track and Field falls to North Penn in 2-day meet

Souderton High School Girls Track and Field was defeated by North Penn 87-63 in a dual meeting that took place over two days, due to weather postponement.

Janae Pettaway finished 1^st overall in both the 100M and 200M dash for the Indians. The 12.31 mark in the 100 is the fastest FAT mark in school history and hit the state guideline. Her 25.67 mark in the 200 also hit the district and state qualifying guidelines.

Destini Smith finished 1^st overall in all 3 jumping events and earned 15 points.

Additional 1^st place finishes included the following:

• Aubrie Weismantel in 400M, District guideline 1:00.41
• Savannah Powlus in 100M Hurdles -District guideline 16.23

2^nd place finishes:

• Carol Ann Descher in both Shot Put and Discus (6 points earned)
• Leah Dufraine in 400M
• Ella Tencza in 800M
• Ava Conley in 3200
• Isiyah McFadden in 100M Hurdles, District guideline 16.25
• Aubrie Weismantel in 300M Hurdles

3^rd Place finishes:

• Isiyah McFadden in 100M Dash

• Catherine Descher in Jav, 89-0 in Javelin (currently top 5 in Leagues)
