Eagles Super Bowl champs belly up to the bar at Lansdale Tavern late Thursday night

Four Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl champions walk into a bar …

No, it’s not the start to one of Buddy Harris’s less stellar jokes – rather it really happened to him at his and co-owner Julianne Palermo’s restaurant and bar, Lansdale Tavern, late Thursday night.

It isn’t every day offensive tackle Jordan Mailata, guards Isaac Seumalo (2016-2022) and Halapoulivaati Vaitai (2016-2019) and wide receiver Nelson Agholor (2015-2019) walk into your establishment, let alone, set foot in Lansdale Borough.

Yet, patrons were able to grab candid shots with the champions, and a fifth unidentified player.

The group was in town for a wedding, per reports from patrons at the bar.

A search on Google Maps brought them to the tavern, where they grabbed a seat at the big front window.

Lansdale Tavern is at 839 W. Main St. in Lansdale Borough. Check out menus and drinks on their website.

It is open daily 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Happy "Hour" is 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Kitchen is open 11 a.m. to midnight Thursday to Saturday, and until 11 p.m. Sunday to Wednesday. The tavern offers a late night menu and takeout beer options.
