Tickets are on sale now for North Penn High School’s production of Children of Eden, created by Stephen Schwartz.

Book by John Caird, music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, and based on a concept by Charles Lisanby, this show is one you don’t want to miss. A joyous and inspirational musical about parents and children, the show is full of metaphors about the decisions we make and the hope that each generation will make better choices about the people we love, the world we inherit, and the world we pass on.

With a haunting score Schwartz considers his best, the show ultimately delivers a bittersweet but uplifting message that “the hardest part of love… Is letting go.”

Performances are May 1, 2, 3, at 7:30 p.m., and May 4 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Gold and silver cards will be honored in addition to the Gold Card show on April 30, 1 pm for North Penn School District residents over the age of 60. For more information about gold cards, please click here.

Additionally, the show is available for streaming. The May 3, 7:30 p.m. show will be live streamed for viewing at home, and that same recording will be available for streaming on May 17 at noon, 4 p.m., and 8 p.m. Streaming show tickets are $25 for an unlimited audience.

The performance on May 3 at 7:30 p.m. will be “A Celebration of Generations”, celebrating 54 years of NPHS Theatre and the final show before renovations to North Penn High School begin.

The very first show performed in the theatre was 1971’s Anything Goes, and the decades since have seen thousands of students gracing the stage with their talents.

NPHS Theatre alumni are encouraged to attend this performance and celebrate the legacy of theatre and the arts at North Penn.
