An unidentified individual was captured on surveillance attempting to steal a Camaro off the A&T Chevrolet dealership lot in West Rockhill Township at the intersection of Bethlehem Pike and Route 152/State Road/Highland Park Road.

Pennridge Regional Police said officers were dispatched the car dealership on March 27 for a report of a Chevrolet Camaro that had a smashed driver’s side window.

A review of surveillance cameras found that a driver entered the parking lot in a white Acura TLX and is seen damaging the window of the Camaro, police said. The thief then entered the car in what appeared to be an attempt to steal the vehicle, police said.

The Camaro was not stolen and police are investigating.
