All three events will take place simultaneously at North Penn High School
North Penn High School clubs are hosting several events on Saturday.
The National Honor Society is holding “Grow in STEM” on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is an opportunity for students to engage in STEM activities outside of the classroom, providing a fun and educational opportunity for younger students to learn about science and math.
Participants will be exposed to a wide range of activities in science, from astronomy to chemistry, and fun and enriching math games and activities. NPHS science club members will be providing demonstrations and hands-on experiences.
Attendees can also demonstrate their own science skills through the creation of their own science fair project. Those intending to participate in the science fair should RSVP here. This event is free and open to the public.
The NPHS ENACT Environmental Club will also be holding an event at the high school simultaneously from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Families are invited to “Hop into Spring” and participate in an outdoor activity.
Children will be led by high school volunteers through an adventure where they will hear a story, participate in a scavenger hunt, do crafts, and play a nature game. The whole event should take participants about an hour.
Families should sign up for a time slot here. This event is free and perfect for children ages four to 10.
The ENACT Club is also holding their annual plant sale on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Native pollinator plants are available for purchase, including Bee Balm, Hula Dancer, May Breeze, Ox-Eye Sunflower, and more.
Plants are $5 each or $20 for five plants.
All events will be held at North Penn High School, 1340 Valley Forge Road, Lansdale.
