Villari’s Self Defense Centers of PA will host their annual Kick-A-Thon for Charity event on Saturday in support of Manna on Main Street, at its Montgomeryville studio at 411 Doylestown Road.
The event kicks off noon to 3 p.m.
Since 2008, the Kick-A-Thon has raised a total of $163,000 and more than 4,500 pounds of food donations. In 2023, they raised a record $20,500.
During the event, dozens of martial arts students will perform 500 kicks pledged for charity, and instructors will attempt to break 50 concrete bricks with their hands, elbows, and feet.
Families are invited to enjoy face painting, raffles, mini golf, music, a fire truck and more to help fight hunger in the North Penn community.
State Sen. Maria Collett and a representative from Manna on Main Street will share brief remarks around 1:30 p.m.
Villari’s is located at the 202 Marketplace shopping plaza, next to Water Tower Cinema.
