Discover Lansdale’s First Friday returns at the end of the week with its Oktoberfest/Chili Cookoff theme. The tasty competition kicks off a weekend-long Oktoberfest celebration in Lansdale. First Friday takes place on Madison and Main streets in downtown Lansdale. Stroll the downtown shopping and dining district, dance near the Kugel Ball, take the kids to the inflatables, or grab a drink along Madison. Plus lots more activities, themes, shopping and more! Well Crafted in Lansdale holds its Oktoberfest 6h Birthday Bash on Saturday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Come dressed to impress – guests are encouraged to wear lederhosen, bar maid, or other Oktoberfest themed outfits and may win awards for best dressed – and cheers to six years. The event features special birthday beers for draft and to-go including Birthday Beer 2024 Hazy IPA, 6th Anniversary Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout - Single Barrel Heaven Hill, Barleywine, and seasonals like Festbier Oktoberfest, Gourdo Extra Special Pumpkin, and Pumpkin Spice Latte Blonde Americano (Blonde Coffee Stout).

The fest also features Dale Rhose Band from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. outside, and a 1-liter Beer Stein Holding Competition.

 

Hatfield Township holds its Rocktoberfest event in School Road Park on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The fall festival features live music, food trucks, vendors, crafters, children’s crafts and games, inflatables, face painting, and more. Before the Festival, guests can also register for the Fall Festival 5K, which starts at 10:30 a.m.


The Lansdale Frachthaus Zer0.5K and Oktoberfest take place on Sunday at 3 p.m. Join other underachievers for an afternoon of glory, to help raise money for the Lansdale Freight House. Cost to enter is a $40 donation to Discover Lansdale or $50 day of the event.
