UPDATE: An overturned vehicle has traffic on Route 309 near the Telford exit backed up

UPDATE 9:10 a.m. on Sept. 19:

At this time, all lanes on 309 are closed in the southbound direction between Perkasie and Telford. Heavy debris is strewn across the roadways. There are two tow truck assisting in turning the vehicle back onto its wheels.

The crane style truck has a company logo stating "The Crane Man Inc." on its side. Heavy damage has occurred to multiple sides of the truck.

Route 309 is closed between the exits as the scene is investigated. Police are blocking all lanes heading south, though the northbound lanes are open.

The condition of the crane truck's driver is unknown.

Published 8:20 a.m. on Sept. 19:

An accident has been reported in the southbound lanes of Route 309 at the PA152 Telford/Sellersville exit in Telford. The calls to emergency dispatch were received around 7:12 a.m. to both Bucks and Montgomery counties emergency dispatch.

One vehicle is overturned onto its side, with reports of an entrapped person inside. A crane has been requested to assist in overturning the vehicle back onto its wheels.

There are lane restrictions and slowed traffic in the area.

Telford Fire Company, Perseverance Fire Company of Souderton, and Tylersport Fire Company were called to assist at the scene.
