Lost baby emu found roaming North Wales, Upper Gwynedd Friday morning reunited with owner

In a Friday the 13th adventure Friday morning, a baby emu was found loose in North Wales Borough, and Upper Gwynedd Police were able to find the owner and return the bird safely.

The police department asked the public's help in identifying the owner around 10 a.m. Friday.

    Upper Gwynedd Township Police   

"Alright so, this is probably the most unique post we've had to make but, do you recognize this lost emu/ostrich?" wrote the police department on its Facebook.

The bird was spotted on Washington Avenue in North Wales Friday around 10:15 a.m.

By 11:15 a.m., police reported the baby emu was returned home.
