Two-vehicle accident with injuries shuts down Vine Street in Hatfield Borough Thursday evening

At least person was transported to an area hospital by VMSC Emergency Medical Services for treatment of injuries suffered in a Thursday afternoon two-vehicle accident with rescue in Hatfield Borough.

The accident occurred shortly after 4:30 p.m. at West Vine Street and Edgewood Drive, involving a Ford pickup and a blue Toyota Yaris sedan, according to reports from the scene.

West Vine Street was closed between Bentwood Drive and Butler Avenue as emergency responders assessed the scene.

Montgomery County emergency dispatch reported a 35-year-old female was bleeding from her arm, but was conscious and alert.

The Ford sustained severe front-end driver’s side damage and the Toyota sustained severe front-end and passenger side door damage. The driver door of the Yaris was removed, per reports. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
