The location along both sides of Allentown Rd. west of Valley Forge Rd. was on the outskirts of town, yet close to schools and shopping. The 3- and 4-bedroom homes appealed to young families and included attractive features like a stone front, recreation room and large closets.

The Inglewood house in our photo is located at the corner of Valley Forge Rd. and Boyd Avenue. The same house is marked with a red arrow on the current Google map.

After nearly 70 years, Inglewood is still a “charming” neighborhood.
