Police seeking ID of suspect who owns Ford Escape involved in a hit-and-run of a pedestrian

Towamencin Township Police are seeking the identity of an individual and the owner of a Ford Escape who escaped from a reported hit-and-run of a pedestrian last month.

Police announced Thursday that they are investigating the incident that occurred on Aug. 7 at 11 a.m. on West Main Street at Oak Bouelvard.

Police said an unidentified woman was driving a silver Ford Escape, possibly between the make years of 2013 and 2019, with a Pennsylvania registration.

After striking a pedestrian, police said the vehicle continued east on West Main Street into Lansdale Borough.
