Fox 29's Mike Jerrick gets On-Air Brazilian Wax to Celebrate Eagles Opener

  • Eagles

Everything gets weirder in Philadelphia on Eagles gamedays. We all know that. And on week one, with the Birds playing in Brazil?!? Who knows what we'll see by the end of the night.

Good Day Philadelphia kicked things off right on Friday morning, as 74-year-old Mike Jerrick threw his legs over his head live on-air for a Brazilian wax.

Here's the video, for those with the stomach for it:

Jerrick's co-hosts, Alex Holley and Karen Hepp, are horrified but can't seem to look away. It's like they're rubbernecking a gruesome car wreck.

Though one very special young Eagles fan believes he is Good Day Philadelphia's only viewer, the morning show reaches tens of thousands in and around the city. We'll see if Jerrick's pregame routine starts a trend.
