A vehicle accident was reported in Perkasie Borough on Thursday evening, with calls noting a need for a possible extraction.

Emergency responders were called to intersection of North Fifth Street and Arch Street, just outside the Perkasie Fire Company’s parking lot, around 8:40 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5 for a two-vehicle accident.

A silver SUV Hyundai Tucson had heavy front-end damage, and a black, Hyundai small SUV was on its roof. One person was removed by first responders from the black car on its roof. The condition of any drivers or passengers is unknown at this hour. Debris is covering the surrounding roadways.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area of the intersection, and traffic in all directions in the vicinity are closed at this time.

Responding to the scene were Perkasie Fire Company, Perkasie Borough Police Department, Chal-Brit Regional EMS, and Medic 151 Ambulance Service via Grand View Health.
