A detached garage was destroyed by fire early Wednesday morning in Lower Salford Township on Lucon Road.

Harleysville Fire Co. Chief Ryan Nase said the fire is still under investigation at this time.

Multiple fire crews were dispatched at 2:20 a.m. for a report of a garage on fire, he said. The first arriving fire chiefs found a large detached garage fully involved. Nase said firefighters had a large fire that they were quickly able to contain to the building.
