Eat brains, win valuable prizes – Where else, but at Discover Lansdale's traditional First Friday season-closer, the annual Zombie Walk?
Come dressed this Friday in your most frightening outfit or let the resident makeup artist make you up gruesomely. Then, stagger with your friends and neighbors down Main Street, learn the “Thriller” Dance, and enjoy a monstrous good evening.
Matt Phoenixx is the Zombie Make-Up Artist, with non-perishable food donations for Manna on Main Street requested, next to the Santa House at Railroad Plaza. (Come early for makeup services.) The Postmortem Hearse Club will be displaying on Madison Street.
The Zombie Walk itself begins at 6:30 p.m., starting at the Santa House, heading west on W. Main St., turning down S. Wood St., then making the turn back toward the FF Main Stage area on Madison St., for the community “Thriller” Dance with DJ Tone Arm.
Prizes to be awarded:
· Best Overall Zombie: Round Guys gift card and Chef Chipper gift basket.
· Best Zombie Couple: Gift cards to Well Crafted Beer and El Limon restaurant.
· Best Zombie Kid: Retroware Arcade gift card booklet.
· Best Survivor: Round Guys gift card.
Easily frightened? First Friday offers entertainment for all temperaments. Great food offerings (with or without brains), amusements for the kids, refreshments for young and old, balloons, face painting and music at Railroad Plaza with DJ Evans Entertainment.
It’s also your last chance to turn in your filled Discover Lansdale Passport (with at least eight stamps) for the final monthly drawing for a gift basket worth more than $300. And even after the program ends for 2024, keep on shopping, dining, and playing at borough businesses!
