WATCH: Chalfont Fire crews fight smoky, smoldering brush fire Tuesday afternoon

Two Chalfont Fire Co. engines were called to a smoky and smoldering leaf and brush fire on the edge of a driveway of a home in New Britain Township Tuesday afternoon.


A faint header of smoke could be seen about two miles out from the fire on the 600 block of New Galena Road around 2:15 p.m., near Limekiln Pike and Creek Road.

Fire crews were still knocking down hot spots and preventing the fire from spreading into woods as of 3 p.m.
