On Saturday, 22 Lansdale businesses on West Main Street and arterial streets opened their doors and costumed children and adults emptied their candy buckets -- multiple times over.

The fourth annual event, organized by Annie Christ, ran from noon to 2 p.m. for trick-or-treaters to walk the main drag and visit local businesses.

Christ said on the event page that the candy crawl started over the pandemic as a way for families to safely trick or treat while not having to worry about walking miles to houses that were empty or did not answer the door.

New businesses taking part this year were The Pines Hair Co., More Than Fish Aquarium and Pets, Third Season Tattoo, Retroware Arcade, Red Tree Tech, Exotic Planet, and Roma's Pizza

Other participating businesses were Comic Zen, Scent & Sip, Escapopolis Escape RoomsPinnacle Ridge WineryMain Street PizzaWell Crafted Beer Co.El Limon LansdaleBackyard Beans Coffee Co.The Main FreezeLansdale TavernRound Guys Brewing CompanyStove and TapHair N'AbstractThe Moon Gazing Rabbit, LLC, and 11 AM Salon.
