2-vehicle accident at Valley Forge and Delaware sends 1 to Lansdale Hospital Wednesday morning

A 30-year-old female was taken to Lansdale Hospital via VMSC EMS with non life-threatening injuries following a two-vehicle crash at South Valley Forge Road and Delaware Avenue, on the edge of Lansdale's West Ward, Wednesday morning.

According to Montgomery County emergency operations dispatch, the injured was conscious and alert and was rescued from her car by Lansdale Police. The extent of her injuries is unknown. VMSC arrived at Lansdale Hospital by 8:42 a.m., per reports.

Both vehicles were moved onto Delaware Avenue following the accident at 8:18 a.m. AIrbags were deployed in both vehicles, per reports. 

Fairmount Fire Co. of Lansdale was recalled from the scene at 8:20 a.m. Towamencin Vol. Fire Co. was also called to assist at the scene.
