On Monday mornings, the North Wales Borough sweet spot at the intersection with South 2nd Street offers Monday Morning Coffee from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The kid-friendly business, which prides itself on energy and nutrient-based smoothies, mega teas, shakes, donuts, waffles and baked goods. Visit them for Waffle Wednesdays, with a new flavor each week. Sometimes there are strawberry cheesecake or Oreo cheesecake donuts.

Do not let its name fool you - it is not a pun. The corner made-from-scratch family-owned and operated bagel bakery and coffee shop has everything: Fresh bagels kettle-boiled prior to baking, giving them an authentic New York flavor. Sandwiches include Boar's Head meats and housemade cream cheese recipes.

It offers bagels of 14 varieties to-go or eat-in, as well as salad sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, cold and hot sandwiches (try the TKs Turkey Reuben) and melts. Beverages run the gamut from coffee to Americano to chai lattes and frappes.

Everything Bagel offers breakfast and lunch in a WiFi indoor seating area, as well as outdoor tables at Main and Walnut streets. Enter from Walnut or one-way Second Street.

The BYOB family-owned and -operated farm fresh breakfast, lunch and dinner spot has a menu for the gluten-free, the vegan, and the carnivorous. 

The Green Fork features local musicians, artists, and vendors in its restaurant and Local Roots Market. Breakfast items include Build-A-Breakfast-Sandwich (B.A.B.S.), cheesy mashed potato waffle, pancakes with banana caramel, or strawberry shortcake, or chocolate chips, creamy cheddar grits, and various healthy wraps and skillets.

Dinners include shrimp and grits, pan seared salmon, tofu stir fry, and sides. There are children's options too.

The family-owned and -operated pizza shop offers slices, pies and sandwiches galore. It touts hand-tossed, Sicilian-style pizza and authentic homestyle Italian cuisine.  The place is renowned for its thin crust pizzas, cheesesteaks and cold hoagies.

According to its website,  "Alice Bakery is Dennis Darr's French-inspired bakery, heavily influenced by his childhood baking with his grandmother Alice. He turned his life long dream into a reality in 2010 in the town of North Wales. Alice Bakery proudly serves the North Wales, Ambler, Lansdale, and Montgomeryville areas."

It offers a bakery menu chock full of breads, baguettes, gouda bread, focaccia bread, ciabatta and sea salt rolls, to name a few. Pastries range from sticky buns and croissants to scones, crumb cakes and muffins.

There are breakfast sandwiches in a variety of bread, meats, cheeses, and vegetable options. A lunch menu feaures soups, quiches, salads, and sandwiches. 

Alice Bakery also makes cakes, especially custom ones.
