Allentown Road was closed between Thorndale Drive and Derstine Road.
One person was injured and taken to an area hospital by VMSC EMS after a three-car accident on Allentown Road at Reinert Road in Towamencin Township Tuesday morning.
Initial reports from Montgomery County emergency radio dispatch said it was a head-on collision involving three cars at 11:52 a.m., with vehicles blocking the roadway.
At the scene, a dark-colored Ford SUV susained heavy front-end driver's side damage and a silver sedan had severe front-end damage, prior to the intersection with Reinert Road. A white sports car could be seen being towed away on Reinert Road.

Towamencin Vol. Fire Co. and Towamencin Police are on scene.
