At least 1 injured in fiery 7-car wreck on Route 309 North Friday morning

At least seven vehicles were involved in a crash on northbound Route 309 in Upper Dublin Township Friday morning, with at least one catching fire.

Per NBC10, the crash occurred around 5:30 a.m. between the Pennsylvania Turnpike and Susquehanna Road.

The extent of injuries are unknown at this time.

Per the report, drivers were detoured onto Highland Avenue to get back onto 309 via Susquehanna Road.

The highway reopened around 7 a.m. once the scene was processed and cars were towed from the wreck.

According to Montgomery County emergency operations dispatch, Community Ambulance Association of Ambler transported at least one person to an area hospital.
