Dress up and walk Main Street in downtown Lansdale for two hours and visit participating businesses.
The 4th Annual Trick or Treat on Main Street Candy Crawl haunts Lansdale on Oct. 26 from noon to 2 p.m. in the downtown borough, hosted by Annie Christ.
“If this could get you school credit, you'd have a Bachelor's Degree in Halloween with a minor in candy!” Christ said of the event.
For two hours, costumed trick-or-treaters can walk down Main Street with friends and family and visit businesses for candy along the way.
Participating businesses – such as Comic Zen, Well Crafted Beer, Scent & Sip and Lansdale Tavern – will have signs posted for the event. There will also be a Google Map link to the event.
Christ – the drag alter ego of Eric Torres – originally started over the pandemic as a way for families to safely trick or treat while not having to worry about walking miles to houses that were empty or may not answer the door.
“Since then,” Christ said, “we've done it every year because it's safe, fun, and not everyone can get out during the weeknights to go trick or treating.”
Check out the event page for updates on area participating businesses.
