A fatal motorcycle accident near Pipersville leaves area roads closed as authorities investigate

A Pipersville motorcycle accident claimed the life of one man Friday evening, closing roads and leaving first responders at the scene investigating the matter.

Around 7:26 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 11, an emergency dispatch call was sent out for the area of Stump Road and Schlentz Hill Road near Pipersville, Bucks County, for a motorcycle accident. The Point Pleasant Volunteer Fire Co. was on the scene, as well as local police.

The Bucks County Dispatch stated that “police on the scene reporting class five motorcycle accident.” A “class five” incident means that a person has been declared dead at the scene.

No further information has been released at this time regarding the incident, but Central Bucks Now will update the site as more becomes available.

The intersection was closed in all directions for an extended period of time as crews worked to assist those involved.
