Driver hits tree, rolls over SUV in Friday night crash in Hilltown, police say

A 25-year-old woman from Telford, who was behind the wheel of a Ford Explorer, was extricated by Silverdale and Sellersville fire personnel on Friday evening after crashing into a tree on the 1200 block of Diamond Street, Hilltown Township Police confirmed Monday.

The driver was transported to Grand View Hospital by the hospital’s Medic unit after the 6:10 p.m. crash near Schoolhouse Road.

Police said they have no specific details at this time as to how the crash occurred.

The driver’s condition and extent of injuries are also unknown at this time, police said.

The scene was cleared by 6:55 p.m.

No charges are anticipated to be filed as a result of the accident.
