Travelers on the Pennsylvania Turnpike now have the convenience of using Google Pay and Apple Pay for toll payments, as announced by the turnpike commission last week.

This new feature aims to enhance the travel experience by providing a seamless and efficient payment method that many users have been requesting, according to Mark Compton, CEO of the turnpike commission, adding that the organization is committed to meeting the evolving needs of its users.

To make the most of these mobile payment options, customers can utilize the PA Toll Pay app, which offers easy management of their accounts. Through the app, travelers can access their transaction history, monthly statements, available balance, and various other services, streamlining the toll payment process. This user-friendly approach underscores the turnpike commission’s dedication to improving mobility for its patrons.

In addition to the app, Google Pay is also compatible with payments made through the E-ZPass website. However, while Apple Pay and Google Pay facilitate one-time payments, they do not support automatic replenishment.
