Honda driver made improper left turn in path of Dodge Ram in Sunday accident, police say

 A 22-year-old Hatfield woman was rescued from her car and suffered minor injuries while driving her 2002 Honda Accord Sunday afternoon after police said she made an improper left turn in front of a 2024 Dodge Ram, resulting in an accident along the 1300 block of Cowpath Road.

Hatfield Police said the accident at 4:34 p.m. was caused by the Dodge Ram colliding with the Honda in the middle of the turn.

The injured woman was put in a neck brace, placed on a stretcher and taken by VMSC Emergency Medical Services to an area hospital.

There were no road closures, police said, and the scene was cleared by 4:58 p.m.

No charges are anticipated to be filed in the incident, police said.

According to Montgomery County emergency radio reports at the time of the accident, police extricated the injured driver from the Honda before fire department arrival.
