Phillies Win Wild NLDS Game 2 - Reactions

  • Phillies

Screw it, you watched the game too. Let's jump right to the good stuff.

Nick Castellanos first:

What a ride for Castellanos in this one. About an hour before the scenes above, the guy was getting booed by 45,000+. There's a non-zero chance he won this game purely out of spite. But hey, whatever works.

Ok but let's back up. It feels like a million years ago, but Cristopher Sanchez threw five really strong innings to keep this game close.

How about Harper and Castellanos hitting back-to-back home runs to tie the game?

How about birthday boy Bryson Stott coming through in the eighth after the Mets re-took the lead?

Oh, also this catch. Mr. Stott had himself a game.

Just gonna dedicate a whole section here to Nick Piccone, the hardest-working man on twitter.

Some odds and ends to close us out. Check back for updates, I know there's a lot of good stuff floating out there that I haven't seen yet. Just an incredible game.
