One person was rescued from their vehicle following a two-vehicle accident on the 1300 block of Cowpath Road in Hatfield Township Sunday afternoon, which temporarily disrupted traffic. 

According to Montgomery Count emergency radio reports, one person was trapped in a silver Honda sedan, which sustained moderate front quarter-panel damage. The second vehicle involved was a pickup truck.

Police extricated the injured driver from the Honda before fire department arrival, per reports. The injured driver was put in a neck brace, placed on a stretcher and transported via VMSC to an area hospital, per reports from the scene.

Cowpath Road was closed at Orvilla Road, with opposite travel lanes open.
