Montgomery County Recorder of Deeds Jeanne Sorg invites all veterans to her annual Montgomery County Veterans Resource Fair on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The Resource Fair will be held at the Greater Plymouth Community Center, 2910 Jolly Road in Plymouth Meeting. Representatives from numerous County offices and departments will be available to discuss the services available to veterans, including: Veterans Services, Voter Services, Public Health, and Aging Services.

“The Montgomery County Veterans Resource Fair is my favorite event of the year,” said Sorg. “I get the opportunity to bring together government programs and services available to our County veterans, all under one roof – soup to nuts. This is public service, and I cannot be happier to serve Montgomery County.”

Veterans can meet other elected County officials and obtain information from their offices, including Clerk of Courts Lori Schreiber, Coroner Dr. Janine Darby, Prothonotary Noah Marlier, Register of Wills Tina Lawson, Sheriff Sean Kilkenny, and Treasurer Jason Salus.

The Recorder of Deeds office will be recording military discharge papers and providing veterans with Veterans’ Discount ID cards, which are good for discounts at more than 650 merchants around Montgomery County.

While at the event, veterans are encouraged to stop by the Montgomery County Community College Massage Therapy Program booth, which will be providing free chair massages.

Mission BBQ is providing a light snack and there will be additional refreshments for veterans in attendance.

Veterans can also visit with representatives from the offices of Congresswoman Madeleine Dean and Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon. If veterans have questions about VA medical benefits, Coatesville VA Medical Center will be there, as well as representatives from the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, Team RWB, the Vet Center, and more.
