Kick off the holiday season with Charles Dickens and Montgomery County! The public is welcome to join in the fun at Pennypacker Mills in the Classroom Building on Nov. 30 at 4 p.m. for “Prelude to a Carol.”
This holiday performance tells the tale of Dickens' inspiration to create an instant Christmas classic - and his unintended influence of the celebration of Christmas itself. Prelude gives voice to the creation of “A Christmas Carol,” told by Dickens himself as if he were performing scenes from his newest novel. Celebrate Christmas with this iconic author sharing his journey to his own Christmas miracle!
