Lansdale Library members can get more than just books with their cards – they can save money on museums and pool passes.

The library offers passes for museums that can be checked out just like a book and returned for another family to use. Lansdale Library staff can assist with more information. The library is free to join for Lansdale Borough residents.


Here are the museums:

American Helicopter Museum & Education Center, West Chester (Admission for up to four people)

Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve, New Hope

Brandywine River Museum of Art, Chadds Ford (Admission for up to four people)

Elmwood Park Zoo, Norristown (Admission to two adults and six children)

Fireman’s Hall Museum, Philadelphia (The Fireman’s Hall Museum is free to visit. This pass does not need to be checked out. Please take a card with the museum’s information to help plan your visit)

Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square (Coupon admits four.)

Mercer Museum and Fonthill Castle, Doylestown (Admission for up to four patrons and a 10% discount in the Museum Shop.)

Morgan Log House, Towamencin Township (A free tour for a family during regular tour hours)

National Museum of American Jewish History, Philadelphia (Admission for two adults and all children in a household up to age 21. Plus 10% off at Museum Store)

Pearl S Buck International, Hilltown Township (Allows a guided tour for two adults and children under the age of 18 in their family. Also includes a 10% discount at the Pearl S. Buck International Gift Shop)

Shofuso House and Garden, Philadelphia

The Academy of Natural Sciences, Philadelphia (Admission for two adults and five children plus a 10% discount in the Academy Shop and Academy Café)

The African American Museum in Philadelphia (Admission for two adults and up to four children under age 18.)

The Museum of the American Revolution, Philadelphia (Admission to two adults and up to four youth ages 6-17. Children 5 and under are free. Also, 10% discount at Cross Keys Café and the Museum Gift Shop)

The Mütter Museum, Philadelphia (Permits four individuals per card per day to enter the The Mütter Museum during regular hours and does not include any discounts at the Mütter Store or for special events and lectures)

The National Constitution Center, Philadelphia (Admission for two adults and up to four children or grandchildren. It also includes a 10% discount at the Delegates’ Café and Museum Store.)

The National Liberty Museum, Philadelphia (Admission for six people and a 10% discount at the Museum Market)

The Penn Museum, Philadelphia (Admission for two adults and all dependent children in their household. This pass may only be borrowed once per household per year.)

Tyler Arboretum, Media

Wings of Freedom Aviation Museum, Horsham (Admission for up to eight people per visit and also includes a 15% discount on gift store purchases)



Lansdale Public Library has the following rules in place:

  • There is no fee to borrow a museum pass.
  • Museum passes may be checked out for one week.
  • No renewals are allowed on museum passes.
  • The late fee for a museum pass is $10 per day.
  • Replacement cost for a lost pass will vary as the replacement cost is the purchase price of the pass.
  • Museum passes are available on a first come, first served basis. Dates cannot be reserved.
  • Museum passes may be placed on hold at the circulation desk either by phone or in person.
  • Museum passes will only be held for one day.
  • We recommend you double check museum open dates and hours before visiting.
  • Please return the museum pass promptly after using it.


Furthermore, the Lansdale Library offers a Pool Pass for members only and good for up to five individuals for any day of the week. Missing cards require the user to pay a $3 cash replacement fee.
