Young Guth Elementary artist wins Perkasie Borough Police’s inaugural Holiday Card Contest

All five artworks have been put on display in the police headquarters’ main lobby area for the holiday season.

Perkasie Borough Police announced the winner and runners-up of its inaugural Guth Elementary School Holiday Card Contest, chosen by Perkasie Borough Police.

Nathanial was the winning artwork – Santa driving a Prohibition-era black police car in front of a Christmas tree. Police said his artwork will be printed on its annual Holiday cards that are sent out to various community and government organizations.

The runners-up were Madilyn, who drew two Paw Patrol-like police dogs; Mariela, who drew Police Santa in front of a tree; Renea, who drew a cat on a police car with a coffee; and Tilly, who drew two cats and a snowman.

All five artworks have been put on display in the police headquarters’ main lobby area for the holiday season.

“We wanted to say a big thank to you to Guth Elementary School staff for helping us with this contest and an even bigger thank you to all of our wonderful students who took time out of their day to submit their amazing artwork to us,” police said. “Perkasie Borough Police Department wishes everyone a safe and happy start to your holiday season!”
