Car crashes into apartment building Friday afternoon

A gray Subaru sedan crashed into the side of an apartment building at Shadywood Village on the 800 block of Shadywood Drive in East Rockhill Township Friday afternoon. 

The crash left a hole in the side of the building and the interior apartment was visible. 

Perkasie, Quakertown, Sellersville, and Dublin fire companies were called to the scene. Grand View Hospital paramedics were called to assess the condition of the female driver.

Crews were able to reverse the car out of the building and it was towed from the scene. 

No other injuries were reported.

It is unknown if anyone was home at the time of the crash. Reports from the scene said construction crews were working on the building at the time of the accident.
