The dead walked -- and then danced to "Thriller" -- during the monsterously enjoyable annual Discover Lansdale First Friday Zombie Walk event on Friday night.

Residents packed Madison Street yet again for another successful event, this time with guests decked out in their most frightening outfits and makeup. Airbush FX makeup artist Matt Phoenixx collected non-perishable food donations for Manna on Main Street. The Postmortem Hearse Club also displayed its spooky hearses and decorated vehicles.

Prizes were awarded for Best Overall Zombie, Best Zombie Couple, Best Zombie Kid, and Best Survivor.
