Dog found in Hatfield goes unclaimed, turned over to SPCA, police say

A medium-sized tan dog that was found Thursday afternoon in Hatfield Township was not claimed by an owner and was turned over to the Montgomery County SPCA, police reported Saturday afternoon.

Police reported the found dog on Friday morning via Crimewatch.

The dog was picked up by the dog warden on Saturday and brought to the SPCA at 1059 Sweisford Road in Perkiomenville.

Call the SPCA at 610-754-7822 with any information on the owner of the dog.
