The North Penn Social Club will be back open for business on Saturday from 4 p.m. to midnight during its Grand Reopening event, when it shows off its revitalized, revamped and renewed full service bar and social hall above North Penn Fire Co. in North Wales Borough.
This means a renewed entry space, new faces, new membership opportunities, new cocktails and mocktails and a brand new food menu, courtesy of Little’s Ice Cream & Water Ice. The grand reopening menu includes $12 chicken and waffles, $8 boneless wings, $10 Italian roast pork sandwiches, $10 grilled cheese and tomato basil soup, $4 mozzarella sticks, and an $8 charcuterie box.
There will also be a DJ dance party from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
“We’re excited to share that the North Penn Social Club is undergoing a revitalization, with a renewed focus on community engagement and supporting the North Penn Volunteer Fire Company,” stated the club in a news release.
“Post-pandemic, the club faced challenges in regaining its former momentum, but a dedicated group of members has taken on the mission of breathing new life into this town staple. For decades, the North Penn Social Club served as a vibrant gathering place, creating cherished memories for residents. Our goal now is to honor that legacy by bringing back beloved activities, like dance nights, trivia, and a diverse menu, all while enhancing the club with modern amenities,” said the club.
From now until the end of the year, the club is offering $1 new memberships. Then, renewals for the year are $10 and $15 for new members in the new year.
“The goal is to create a space that feels familiar yet refreshed, blending old-school charm with today’s comforts. Most importantly, every dollar we raise goes directly to supporting the North Penn Volunteer Fire Company, helping ensure they have the resources needed to keep our community safe,” said the club.
Club members enjoy the benefits of the club, but also contribute to the well-being of the local fire department.
“We invite everyone to join us in this exciting chapter, reconnect with friends, and make new memories—all while supporting a vital cause for our town,” said the club.
According to its website, the club has a long bar, full kitchen, two pool tables, a dartboard and multiple games of skill. It can host 145 guests and is handicap-accessible.
It has new signature cocktails, inspired from its North Penn firefighters.
The banquet hall and conference room are available to rent for birthday parties, retirement parties, business presentations, meetings or any event.
The North Penn Social Club is at 141 S. Main St., North Wales.
