Ed Barger, 82, of Montgomery Township, died Wednesday, May 22, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Lotter) Barger, his wife of 50 years.

Born February 13, 1942 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Theresa (Morley) Barger.

Ed was employed as the circulation supervisor with the Philadelphia Inquirer for 38 years, retiring in the 1990s, and was a longtime parishioner of Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church, North Wales. He loved golfing at PineCrest County Club was an avid foodie and wine enthusiast.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Edward J. Barger (Jackie) of North Wales; and his grandchildren, Mollie and Ryan Barger.

Relatives and friends may call between 10 and 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church, 1325 Upper State Road, North Wales, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
