Emergency personnel on scene of pedestrian struck at Main and Broad in Lansdale

One person was taken to a trauma center for treatment of injuries.

Emergency personnel are on scene of a struck pedestrian on East Main Street near Broad street Wednesday evening.

One man was taken to Grand View Hospital’s trauma center for treatment of injuries by VMSC Emergency Medical Services. The age and condition is unknown at this time.

A puddle of blood could be seen on the sidewalk by the Koehler’s Jewelers entrance on East Main Street where the pedestrian was struck shortly after 5:30 p.m.

Lansdale Police assisted at the scene.

Traffic was not detoured and no lanes were closed.
